MEP Technician – Construction – Dublin

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more. 

Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced MEP Technician to contribute to a Data Centre construction project in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Drawing Production and Modelling
Produce detailed MEP drawings and coordinated 3D models using Revit, with a primary focus on mechanical services including HVAC systems, plantrooms, and associated distribution layouts. Ensure all outputs are aligned with project requirements, internal standards, and industry best practice.
Support to Engineering Teams
Work closely with mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop design information from concept through to detailed stage. Assist in translating engineering intent into accurate, buildable drawing packages suitable for construction and client deliverables.
Coordination of Services
Contribute to the coordination of MEP services within a federated model environment, identifying clashes and inconsistencies and working with engineers and other disciplines to resolve issues efficiently.
Project Delivery and Deadlines
Manage workload across multiple concurrent projects, delivering drawing packages within agreed timelines. Maintain consistency and quality across all outputs while working under direction in a fast-paced project environment.
Quality and Accuracy
Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawing work, carrying out self-checks and incorporating feedback to meet the standards expected on complex engineering projects.

Requirements

Must be comfortable and experienced in working across multiple projects
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background
Must have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin
